What we delivered
Complete website redesign
The old site ran on an outdated demo theme that still carried leftover demo links. We rebuilt it in WordPress with Elementor, using the brand’s navy and ocean blue across all eight pages. Same images and course content, now clean, credible and professional.
WooCommerce course booking
Each Foundations seminar gets its own course page with dates, times, location and NCCAOM PDA credits at the top. We stripped out the wishlist and compare buttons that made no sense for a seminar. One Book Now button takes students straight to checkout.
Custom checkout flow
The full billing form used to sit on the course page, so students had to scroll past it just to read about the seminar. We moved registration to a dedicated WooCommerce checkout page. The course page sells the seminar, the checkout handles payment.
Email signup and waitlist
Two of the three seminars have no dates yet. We added an iContact signup form on every page and in a popup, so interested acupuncturists can join the waitlist. New seminar dates reach people who already want to attend.
Security cleanup and fresh build
During the rebuild we found a hidden backdoor on the hosting account that was crashing the site with PHP errors. We removed it, deleted the compromised install, and rebuilt on a fresh, secure WordPress setup.
Responsive development
Acupuncturists browse between patients, usually on a phone. Every page was built and tested on mobile, tablet and desktop. Course details are readable on small screens and the Book Now button is easy to tap.
